• Benevolence Ministry Team We are available to assist families once per rolling year with rent and utilities. Those seeking assistance must come to the Church Office (by 2PM Tuesdays) after visiting the Food Bank, fill out a Benevolence Request Form, provide documentation, and make an appointment to meet with members of the Benevolence Team on Tuesday afternoons from 3-4PM. Team Members: If you would like to become a member of the Benevolence Ministry Team, contact Pastor Jones, Pastor Berry, or John McGuffin. Donations: Checks are accepted for this ministry, put Benevolence or 2nd Mile Assistance in the memo line.
  • Food Bank Each month we are requested to donate a specific item which is used in a food box for clients who come to the Greene County Community Ministries' Food Bank. Donation Location: Blue container in the Fellowship Hall
  • Greene County Firewood Ministry A ministry of several Greene County churches, the Firewood Ministry meets every Saturday at 8AM on the corner of Bernard & Church Streets in downtown Greeneville. The ministry supplies wood to low-income families that would otherwise be unable to heat their home during the winter. Team Members: Members participate by cutting, splitting, loading, and delivering wood or providing meals to the volunteers on Saturdays.   • Mary & Joseph Projects Contributions of personal hygiene items and feminine products are accepted and taken to Greeneville City & Greene County Schools for distribution. Donation Location: Brown cabinet outside the Fellowship Hall
  • Prayer Shawl Ministry Team This ministry provides prayer shawls for persons who are experiencing crisis or significant highs or lows in their life. We have prayed and distributed over 500 prayer shawls since the ministry began. The average cost to make a shawl is $20. The Prayer Shawl Ministry Team meets each Wednesday at 10AM in the Prayer Shawl Room under the Sanctuary accessible through our Prayer Garden (in the Children's Department).   • Restoration Depot The Restoration Depot is designed to restore hope to Greene County Families in crisis by providing essential household goods and furniture. The Depot collects used furniture, appliances, and other household items the first Saturday of each month from 9AM-12N at 406 N. Irish Street. To qualify to receive assistance, please contact the Food Bank.
