Wednesday Evening Activities

Homework Club and Music in Motion
Transportation* can be provided for your child from school to the church. Once there, homework help and snacks are offered by supervising adults. At 4:30 children attend Music in Motion with Mrs. Cindy Sams and Mrs. Carolyn Gregg. They are then dismissed to the Fellowship Hall for Wednesday Night Supper at 5:15PM.

*If you wish for your child to be transported, they MUST be registered with the Children's Department and the school MUST be notified, we currently are serving Hal Henard, East View, and Tusculum View. Please contact Mrs. Kim. Click the following links for our permission form and covenant. (Both documents must be completed for participation.)

K.I.D.S. Klub - Kids in Discipleship and Service
Children are dismissed as a group from the Fellowship Hall around 6:15PM, following Wednesday Night Supper. We gather in the "Take TWO" Theater room for a short devotional and take prayer requests. After closing with prayer, children are dismissed into appropriate age groups.

Our time in K.I.D.S. Klub is split between Bible study, games, missions, art, movies, and cookery/computer. In April of each year, 4th and 5th graders begin preparing for the Bible Bowl, a version of Jeopardy pertaining to Asbury UMC, United Methodist history, and Bible history. Our preschoolers spend their Wednesday nights learning important Bible stories and completing art projects.

Around 7:25PM, we head to the Fellowship Hall as a group to meet parents!
